Jose B. Melo
Dr. Jose B. Melo received his medical degree from the Federal University of Ceara School of Medicine in Brazil, where he also completed his postgraduate training internship and residency and served as an associate professor of internal medicine and oncology. He also completed a residency and fellowship at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He Is board certified in Internal medicine and hematology.
Dr. Melo has practiced at South Florida Oncology and Hematology Consultants since 1995 and is affiliated with Westside Regional Medical Center and HCA FL University Hospital, Davie, FL. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Florida Medical Association, and the University of Miami School of Medicine, and is an affiliate member of the Center of Blood Diseases. Dr. Melo practices at the Plantation location.
Jason E. Tache
Dr. Jason E. Tache received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL and completed an osteopathic transitional internship at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL. He also completed an internal medicine residency and a hematology and oncology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Tache is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
Dr. Tache has practiced at South Florida Oncology and Hematology Consultants since 2007. He has been published in The American Journal of the Medical Sciences and is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish and Hebrew. Dr. Tache practices at the Plantation location.
Harshad V. Amin
Dr. Harshad V. Amin received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College in India, where he also completed his postgraduate training internship and residency. After coming to the United States, he served as a clinical research associate at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL before completing an internship and residency in internal medicine at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. He also completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
Dr. Amin has practiced at South Florida Oncology and Hematology Consultants since 2014. He has published peer-reviewed journal articles for multiple scientific publications, including the American Journal of Cardiology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Florida Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Amin practices at the Plantation location.
