Valley Radiation Oncology

Valley Regional Cancer Center has experts in both medical and radiation oncology who work together to design the optimal treatment plan for every patient. Imaging and Lab Services are provided by Valley Regional Health Services, a joint venture of Illinois Valley Community Hospital and St. Margaret’s Hospital. Together, their diagnostics and lab services include state-of-the-art PET/CT technologies and extensive laboratory diagnostic services that assists the physicians in the staging of cancer and aids in radiation treatment planning.

Valley Regional Cancer Center is part of The US Oncology Network (“The Network”), a community of more than 1,400 affiliated physicians with expertise in medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, urology, oncology surgery and other specialties. Our Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist and highly trained staff can offer a variety of radiation treatments using advanced 3-D imaging technology. Every patient receives a unique treatment plan that maximizes the dose to the tumor while reducing exposure to the normal healthy tissues. We use a variety of technologies to develop the most effective treatment plan unique to each patient.
