Our practice was recently impacted by the national outage experienced by Change Healthcare, a healthcare technology company that provides services to our organization, because of a cyberattack.

During the outage, certain systems and services we use for administrative tasks, including billing for your visits, were temporarily unavailable. This may have caused inconvenience and concern for you, especially when billing has been delayed.

We know the importance of safeguarding your data and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security. Change Healthcare reports that their privacy office and information security teams are working to understand the impact to patients. At this time, we have not received any notices that your personal or medical data has been compromised because of this outage.

City of Hope provides radiation oncology services at practice sites in Glendale, Mission Hills, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Clarita, Sherman Oaks, Temecula, West Hills and Wildomar, in addition to its sites in Duarte, Antelope Valley, Arcadia, Corona and South Pasadena.

As at all City of Hope facilities, the rad-onc sites will offer an integrated, interdisciplinary array of services and programs to address the many physical and emotional issues that can arise during and after radiation treatment. In addition, support staff will be available to help patients navigate City of Hope and get access to the resources they need.
